These include guided snorkeling tours by our marine biologist, both from the beach and pontoon, glass-bottom boat tours, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, beach volleyball, seasonal bird and turtle watching, and a selection of Fijian cultural experiences, including a traditional Kava ceremony.
Additionally, both our day cruise and dinner cruise feature a buffet meal prepared with fresh local ingredients. You can also opt for additional activities at an extra cost on our day cruise, such as beach massages by the Senakai Day Spa on the island and scuba diving guided by professional PADI instructors for all experience levels.

Tivua Island is situated just 90 minutes away from Port Denarau Marina and is a pristine gem in the Pacific, exclusively owned by Captain Cook Cruises. It’s a part of the Mamanuca island group, an archipelago comprising 20 volcanic islands spanning around 135 square kilometers in the western region of Fiji. How Many Passengers Are Onboard Day Cruises, and Are They Suitable for Children?
Our Tivua Island day cruises can accommodate a maximum of 100 passengers per vessel, and the island can host up to 200 guests. All age groups are welcome on both our day cruise and dinner cruise, with children requiring adult supervision at all times. Children should be capable of swimming unassisted.
Children under 5 years of age are also welcome on our day cruises, but parents must provide their flotation devices. We offer a Captain’s Kids Club on the Tivua Island Day Cruise designed for children between 5 and 12 years old.
